I would not consider surgery overseas. This is your health you are playing with. What would happen if you got back home and developed an infection? - who is going to treat you, or will you go back to Thailand? At least if you have surgery here you have somewhere local to go back to if the surgery isn't right, you develop an infection or require assistance. Its not gauranteed that your surgery is risk free in any country so when thinking about a surgeon or a destination you should have a back up plan if something doesn't go according to plan, and base your desicion on this.
