If you are younger than your late 20s or early 30s, you shouldn't need any of that stuff, and it can actually mess up your face. At those younger ages, your cell turnover rate on your face is still pretty quick, so all you should need is a good cleansing routine and general exfoliation several times a week.

Don't try the chemical peel yourself - too dangerous - by scrubbing with plain old Ivory soap and water you will eventually shed all those ugly blemishes and bright, shiny, healthy new skin will take over. We shed our skin anyway, why not help it along a little faster? After scrubbing, soothe your skin by applying Witch Hazel with a cotton ball or cloth. And lay off the covering makeup to give your skin a chance to breathe.
