Diet and exercise after liposuction?!?
I recently just had a baby, and am going to have some lipo done. I have done it 2x before but gained back the little bit of weight I lost because I did not change my diet or continue to exercise. I thought once they got rid of those fat cells, you were good, and I didn't have to do anything else, I would just stay skinny!! Can you say naive??!! =) Anyway, I am very focused this time and am using it as a jumpstart. I started at 145, delivered at 215 and 4 weeks later am still at 192. I was also 10 lbs heavier to start with because of meds I took for migraines that had weight gain as a side effect. So technically, I want to eventually get back to about 130-135, where I usually am. I would like some advice on what is the best way to eat healthy, to continue my weight loss after my procedure? I have an elliptical, between that and walking, is that sufficient enough exercise? I am starting my nursing clinicals in 3 weeks, so I will be in school full time, and I have a new baby! I am a lost soul, please, I need some helpful advice??!! I am no longer on those meds, and just want to feel attractive again!
#2 - I was really sick throughout my pg. - if I didn't eat , it made it worse, even with anti nausea meds. Plus I drank a lot of pop. I realize now, that I DO have to continue to work at it, to get it to stay off - it's not gonna stay that way - because I paid for it to. But, I don't know how to eat, low carbs, low calories, wheat bread, no bread????? I am asking for advice on how to stay healthy, not looking to be ridiculed!!
