My name is Linda Yuval and I am a PhD Candidate in the Department of Psychology at the University of Guelph, Guelph, ON, Canada. Under the supervision of Dr. Serge Desmarais and in partial completion of my doctoral research, I am looking for women to participate in a survey. The survey examines the reasons why women may get or consider getting a cosmetic medical procedure. This research has received ethics approval from the Research Ethics Board at the University of Guelph. This research is not endorsed or funded by any independent third party (e.g., pharmaceutical company, cosmetic surgery clinic, government organization, etc.)

The survey should take approximately 30 to 40 minutes to complete, and by participating in the survey you will be entered into a lottery draw for $500. While your chances of winning the lottery are difficult to estimate precisely since they depend on the number of entries received, they have been estimated at roughly 1 in 400.
