I'm sick of shaving my legs and armpits, so I'm trying to figure out whether waxing or using something like Veet or Nair would work. How long do these methods last? Are they effective? I won't go into a salon to get it done, so are there any that I can buy at a store? Any additional information is appreciated.

Veet makes your legs smooth,but when you apply it, it smells, stings and burns in sensitive places on your legs. The hair on my legs hasn't fully grown back in about 1 month. it sometimes smells like perm and it stings like it too. You may have to apply it a couple times so that all the hair will go away, but its pretty effective.

use nair for the body and sally hansen cream hair remover for the face. then after the key is to moisturize a lot. also get one of those shave minimizing lotions by nivea. these methods alone should last for a while, but if u use the lotion everyday eventually u will notice a decreased need for hair removal altogether.

I wax...only downside is you have to wait for sufficient hair re-growth before you can wax again but generally speaking it lasts for about 3 weeks, everyone is different though; I love it because you don't get a shaving rash or stubble!
