i have an over hang of skin from having baby, it gets me down and i feel awful when i look in mirror, at 21 i do not want this. I spoke to doctor who said no one would touch me at 21 was very rude, its from having a baby so i would think it would be avaliable on nhs.

A baby changes everything... including your body. Personally if I were a plastic surgeon I wouldn't do it. You're very likely to have more children and the previous tummy tuck could have consequences we can't yet foresee. Be proud of your body for what it has accomplished, don't be ashamed.

i dont think so becuase it is not risking your health

Everyone gets it hun, I am afraid that's what come from having a baby. There is no reason why the should do it on the NHS as it is not medically a problem. There is no point in having it done now any way as it will come back with another baby. Love your body. Be proud and use it as a way yo show people that you have had a child and you are not embraced that you did.

Your doctor told you no one would touch you? As in they wouldn't romantically/sexually?
thats incredibly inappropriate, you should try contacting the BBB or another doctor in his office even...
as for the tummy-tuck there shouldn't be too much of a problem. There could be an issue if you had a c-section. The best thing to do is make an appointment with a plastic surgeon just for a consultation.
Also, insurance will not cover elective surgery, meaning surgery/procedures that you don't really need....

hi i was 16 when i had my daughter and obviously i had the same problem, best thing i've found is to do exercises like crunches, or if you have the chance go swimming or ride a bike. i was told that if after i'd obviously been doing these and toned up enough i could get a tummy tuck on the NHS, but only after sufficient evidence of exercise had been produced. meaning my stomach muscles were tight just not my skin. anyway, after doing crunches as much as possible walking the same my ab's are tightening and so is the skin. and ignore your doctor, me and my BF got together 2 months after my daughter was born.

I shouldn't think so as it is a cosmetic procedure. Your doctor shouldn't have been rude to you but he/she was right about one thing. A reputable cosmetic surgeon would not perform a tummy tuck on a 21yr old because you may want more children in the future. A tummy tuck would leave you with a lot less skin on your stomach and your belly button would be in a different place so you would have a lot of problems with over-stretched skin etc if you got pregnant again. Try not to let it get you down. I also have what I call a little kangaroo pouch but you only notice it in tight clothes. It's not the end of the world!
